The official launch and celebration of Richard Hedger's book TELLING TALES - 40 Fabulous Years of Floats, Fun, Fantasy and Fortitude.
Sydney portrait photographer, Richard Hedger, has shot 40 original portraits of members of the LGBTI+ community. In parallel, Hedger has documented each individual’s personal story to tell of the ever-evolving role the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras has played in their life.
I’m featured in this book amongst political activists, actors, academics, athletes, authors, carers, chefs, comics, designers, directors, editors, entertainers, entrepreneurs, historians, journalists, lawyers, performers, playwrights, photographers, politicians, professionals, retailers and stylists.

Fri 2nd March – Locker Room Sports Party
Join us in the Locker room from 10pm until 7am, where all the boys meet, and masculinity is the name of the game.

The party that now needs no further introduction is now the Closing Party for the Mardi Gras weekend.
Last years "Barcode Closing Party" was an International sell out event.
The Closing Party will start immediately after Apollo at 10pm with DJ’s Mark Alsop MA15+ (AU), Ryan John (AU), Wayne G (UK), DJ Blow Hard (NYC) Dirty Nelly (UK) and Johnny Big Boy (UK)
