…...Honey kicks off their summer season with a hot underground party at the Civic Hotel.
Summer is here and with it, comes the highly-anticipated return of circuit party, Honey, on December 6 at the Civic Underground.
Having hibernated over the winter, organisers are keen to get back into the game and show Sydney bears a great time.
Since 2012, Honey has been putting on knockout parties for beary men, with a focus on good quality house music. There’s a welcoming vibe and a fun atmosphere to Honey events, thanks largely to friendly following and an ethos of no-attitude. At Honey, it’s all about having fun.
This time around, the crew are taking the party underground – to the Civic Underground, to be precise.
“We made the move to the Civic in Sydney CBD, as we’re looking for a more underground feel to the party,” said organiser Jonny Bastin.
“We want to create a more sexy, intimate feel at our parties where guys can be themselves, celebrate and have fun, and the Civic is perfect for this.”
Indeed it is. The Civic Underground boasts a state of the art sound system and top notch lighting facilities. Moreover, there’s plenty of dance floor space.
“Our resident DJs Mark Alsop and Colin Gaff return and the Civic has one of the best sound systems in Sydney, so it’s going to be a superb night with the dance floor packed with hot beary guys,” Bastin says.
