I have been fortunate enough to be selected as a finalist in the 2010 Honour Awards, an annual event which recognises outstanding achievements within or contributions to NSW's gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) community. The awards are also a gala fundraising event for ACON.
I’m writing to ask that you join me on the evening of Thursday 30 September to support my nomination and help raise money for ACON's vital work in our community.  The awards ceremony and cocktail party will be held at the very chic Sun Room at the Ivy in Sydney.
As a guest, you'll be treated throughout the evening to quality wines, beers and soft drinks, delicious gourmet canapés and great DJs. You'll also be able to pick up a bargain at a silent auction which will feature a range of beauty, fitness, dining and travel experiences as well as art, furniture, homewares, mobile devices and professional services.
